Unlock a deeper understanding and admiration for the harmony of the incredible world we live in. Chemistry, like all of the empirical sciences, is an avenue to greater knowledge and love of the Creator through His creation. In this program, you’ll excel in the theories and methodologies of scientific inquiry, all while firmly rooted in the liberal arts and the Catholic Faith.

1. Thorough Laboratory Experience – Thanks to our small lab sizes, you can expect a more complete laboratory experience with individualized attention and expert guidance from our dedicated professors to help you become the best you can be.
2. Methods of Scientific Analysis – Through your lab experience, you’ll learn modern methods of scientific analysis and identification. You’ll use these methods to explore, discover, test and experiment with kinetics, chemical equilibria, organic compounds and more.
3. Mathematical Proficiency – Competence in mathematics is essential for the effective study of the chemical sciences. Before progressing into the higher levels of chemistry and biochemistry available in this program, you’ll complete certain prerequisite courses to gain mastery in physics and mathematics.

The successful completion of the AMU BSN program includes the completion of clinical activities at established by our Clinical Agency sites. Failure to complete clinical activities would result in not meeting course and end-of-program student learning outcomes, thus rendering the student unable to complete the program, graduate, and be eligible for NCLEX-RN testing.
Nursing students must meet requirements established by the Clinical Agencies to attend clinical. The student must remain compliant with all requirements throughout the duration of the BSN program. These are the requirements (subject to change):
